Thank you to all of the personnel that helped with the annual MDA boot drive. It was another successful year with a total of $25,106 collected. Also, a big thank you to Roger and Matt for organizing and coordinating the entire event.

The Pancake Breakfast is fast approaching. This year the breakfast will be held on Sunday, October 9th . As always, I know that I can depend on all of the Station 3 personnel to participate in this annual event.

Matt is organizing a trip to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial service in Emmitsburg, MD. This service is a memorial to all of the firefighters that died in the line of duty in 2010. The service serves as a somber reminder of those killed in service, but it is also a powerful testament to the honor and tradition of the fire service. The dates for the trip are Oct. 14-16. Please contact Matt if you are interested in attending.
