Workers clearing a building scheduled for demolition at Saginaw Valley State University discovered a mercury spill in an unused chemistry lab.
Million Dollar Structure Fire
A fire set to cover a burglary destroyed over one million dollars worth of foreign cars.
Impaled
While attempting to climb over a cemetery fence, a middle aged woman apparently slipped and was impaled. A three to four inch section of the fence pierced her groin and upper thigh area. The incident occurred at night and she remained on the fence for approximately 5 hours before being spotted by passing motorists.

Asphalt Truck Fire
Vapors from a leaking propane tank were ignited by the open flame of a tar pot heater as the asphalt truck was on its way to a construction site. As firefighters arrived, a second 100 pound propane tank released and those vapors also ignited.
Mutual Aid to Saginaw City
Early morning fire causes extensive damage in this Saginaw City home. Saginaw Township Fire was called in to assist as other Saginaw City Fire crews were fighting multiple structure fires on once.

also on scene.
